This course includes all the core skills and knowledge required to safely and competently operate a Side by Side Vehicle (SSV) across a range of terrain and working environments.
Participants will develop practical capability in vehicle familiarisation, correct seating and restraint use, low range operation, terrain assessment, load management and safe manoeuvring techniques including hill climbs, descents, side slopes and obstacle negotiation.
Operator safety, hazard awareness and responsible driving practices are reinforced throughout, with emphasis on manufacturer recommended techniques and risk management.
Course content is customised to the participant’s specific SSV model, operating environment and intended application, ensuring training is relevant, practical and directly transferable to real-world conditions.
